Before you send us personal data.
This statement is given under Data Protection Principle 1 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). It applies whenever you give us personal data, including by email to info@normatum.org. Our Privacy Policy has the full detail.
1. Purpose of collection
We collect your personal data to reply to your enquiry, arrange and hold a call you have asked for, prepare a proposal if you request one, and deliver services if you engage us. When you visit this website, technical data is collected to operate and secure it.
2. Whether you have to provide it
Providing personal data is voluntary. If you do not give us an email address or another way to contact you, we will not be able to reply.
3. Who may receive it
Your personal data may be transferred to the following classes of people and organisations, for the purposes above:
- our website hosting provider;
- our email provider;
- Google, which serves the website's fonts and receives visitors' IP addresses;
- our professional advisers, under a duty of confidentiality; and
- regulators, courts and law enforcement bodies, where the law requires it.
Some of these may process data outside Hong Kong. We do not sell personal data, and we will not use it for direct marketing, or pass it to others for direct marketing, without your consent.
4. Access and correction
Under sections 18 and 22 of the Ordinance, and Data Protection Principle 6, you have the right to request access to, and correction of, your personal data. We may charge a reasonable fee for processing an access request.
